John Petty

John Petty - Vice Chair

I moved into the village with my family in 2023 and was impressed with how the villages came together and wanted to get involved to do my bit.

Soshana McKnight-Hill

Soshana McKnight-Hill

I joined the parish council in 2023 and have only lived in Wansford since November 2021. In the short time I’ve lived here I have involved myself with organising and hosting events from my home garden for the village to enjoy. I’d like to feel like I’ve helped the village come together in some small way. It’s nice to be part of a community and if I can help accomplish that then I feel I’ve achieved something worthwhile.

Tracey Knaggs

Tracey Knaggs

I am Tracey Knaggs, aged 51, married with 2 girls and 1 pooch. We bought our house in Wansford in 2013, but it has taken years of renovation which is still on the go but we finally got moved in just before Christmas in 2021. I love going on long walks with my pooch in and around Wansford and I have met many of my lovely neighbors on my walks along the canal.

One of my passions is the wildlife, you may spot me stood waiting to capture that one good photo of the wildlife - although I am still to capture a kingfisher as they are just too fast. Wansford has certainly caught my heart and I have joined the local Parish Council to try and help people and to help keep up the community spirit and hopefully put new & helpful ideas into the village.

I have been a resident in Skerne for the last 5 years. I live with my husband Dave and our three Labradors, as our two children have now flown the nest.

I work as an emergency nurse practitioner and believe that being part of a local community is essential for a sense of wellbeing to that end, I am dedicated to help to improve community spirit for Skerne and Wansford.
