The Skerne and Wansford Parish Council was formed on 1st April 1935 when the two parishes were merged
but it was not renamed
until the 9th March 1979.
Skerne and Wansford Parish Council has 9 seats all of which were up for election in May 2023.
Eight people from the parish
submitted their nominations to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council to be candidates
at the elections; all eight were elected
unopposed.
