information about the role of the parish council and how it supports the communities it serves.

and finances but also local news, upcoming events and updates about projects planned by the parish council.
This website is compliant with the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities 2015.

In April 1935 the parishes of Wansford and Skerne were merged but it wasn’t until March 1979 that the parish was renamed the Skerne and Wansford Parish Council. It is currently made up of nine voluntary members form both communities and employs a clerk to administrate meetings and finances.

Councillors would like to hear your ideas, opinions and concerns and invite all parishioners to contact them via this website or by attending the meetings that are held in the Wansford Village Hall.
